Sage

Oecanthus salvii Note how well this species blends in with the pastel coloring of this sage plant. Here is a brief video of a male singing. Below are photos of a male and female Sage tree cricket. Here is another view of the pastel green coloring. This species has unusual configurations of the upper outer black mark on the first antennal segment. They vary in shape slightly, some looking like there is a break in the middle. One very distinguishing character of this species are the deep black setae on the hind femoras.
